Terms of Service

1. The service

Devinity Market is a digital marketplace where creators can offer Roblox-related development assets (such as scripts, systems, UI kits, plugins, models, maps, and frameworks), and buyers can purchase access to approved packages. Assets are not publicly listed until they pass our automated checks and administrator moderation.

Devinity is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, except to the extent we use Roblox-provided authentication or APIs that you authorize.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Devinity. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the service with a parent or guardian’s consent. You are responsible for complying with Roblox’s age and account requirements when linking a Roblox account.

3. Accounts

• Provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You may link a Roblox account for identity verification. One Roblox account may only be linked to one Devinity account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or create security risk.

4. Seller applications and selling

Selling requires an approved seller application (unless your role already includes seller access). Approval is discretionary and may be revoked.

As a seller, you represent that:

• you own the rights to the assets you upload, or have permission to sell them;
• your packages do not contain malware, backdoors, credential stealers, obfuscated payloads intended to harm buyers, or other malicious code;
• your listings do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights;
• your content complies with Roblox’s rules and applicable law;
• product descriptions are not materially misleading.

Uploads remain private until approved. We may reject, request changes to, suspend, unpublish, or remove listings or versions at any time for safety, legal, quality, or policy reasons. A previous approved version may remain available while a new version is under review.

5. Buyer purchases and downloads

When you purchase an asset, you receive a personal license to download and use the approved package for your own Roblox development projects, unless the listing states a broader license. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly re-upload, or claim ownership of a purchased asset as your own product, unless the seller’s license expressly allows it.

Downloads are logged for security and abuse prevention. Access may be revoked if a purchase is refunded, chargebacked, or found to involve fraud or policy violations.

6. Payments, credits, and fees

You may pay for assets with marketplace credits or by card. Credits are purchased in packages through our payment processor (Stripe) and stored on your account (1 credit = $1.00 USD face value toward eligible purchases). Card checkout charges the order total directly. Platform fees may be deducted from seller earnings as shown at the time of sale; seller earnings accumulate as credits on the seller balance for later payout features.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the listing. Refunds, if offered, are handled according to our internal review process and may be limited for digital goods once downloaded. Sellers are responsible for any taxes applicable to their earnings.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• upload malicious, stolen, leaked, or unauthorized assets;
• attempt to bypass moderation, file scanning, download protections, or access controls;
• scrape, spam, harass, or abuse users or staff;
• manipulate reviews, ratings, or reports;
• use the service for fraud, money laundering, or illegal activity;
• impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with Roblox or Devinity;
• interfere with platform security, availability, or integrity.

8. Moderation, scanning, and security

We use automated file scanning, manual review, audit logs, rate limits, and related security controls. Scanning reduces risk but does not guarantee that every package is safe or bug-free. Buyers should still review assets before using them in production experiences.

We may retain scan results, moderation notes, reports, and security events as needed to operate and protect the platform.

9. Intellectual property

Sellers retain ownership of their original content, subject to the licenses they grant buyers and the license they grant Devinity to host, preview, moderate, market, and deliver that content on the platform. Devinity’s branding, site design, software, and trademarks remain our property.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to identify the material and your claim. We may remove or restrict content while investigating.

10. Communications

Messaging, reviews, reports, and notifications must remain lawful and respectful. We may review reported content and take action, including content removal or account restrictions.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every asset will meet your needs or be free of defects.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Devinity and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or security incidents arising from use of third-party assets. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Devinity for the transaction giving rise to the claim in the prior 3 months, or (b) USD $50.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Devinity harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for policy violations, security concerns, legal requests, or prolonged inactivity. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, licenses already granted, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
